Free Home repair for disabled, lower-income and elderly residents of Rockford, Celina and Mendon Ohio

Mt Tabor Church of God plans to bring up to 400 teenagers and adults to Rockford, Celina and Mendon, Ohio to improve the homes of local residents at absolutely no cost to them. As many as 70 local residents will benefit from the free home repair. The Workcamp will provide free home repairs through the Group Cares program. 


Group Cares is a non-profit, interdenominational Christian volunteer home-repair organization headquartered in Loveland, Colorado. This summer, almost 25,000 young people and adults will participate in 39 Workcamps in communities across the United States.


The Work camp will be housed at Parkway Local Schools with Work campers sleeping on classroom floors, eating in the cafeteria, and enjoying evening programs in the gym. Repairs offered through the Workcamp include interior and exterior painting, weatherization, porch and wheelchair ramp construction, and other work.
