Current Series – Jesus Is

Eventually everyone has to finish the sentence, Jesus Is ______. This new series will start on Sunday January 4th. Our goal with this series is help many understand the common and difficult questions about Jesus while equipping people to carry the light so many desperately need to see in our world today.

Jesus Is _____. explores topics that reveal Jesus’ purpose for coming, what He accomplished and what that means for those of us who came after. Please join us and gain intimate knowledge for a deeper, lasting relationship with Jesus.

COG Womens Retreat – 2015

During this weekend , held at the beautiful campus of Winebrenner Seminary located in Findlay, OH, women of all ages come together to sing, praise, worship, fellowship and enjoy the teachings of the speakers and breakout sessions.

This retreat is open to ladies of all dominations and if you are interested in attending please contact the church.   This years retreat is called 4D Love and starts Friday evening March 13, 2015 and ends Sunday morning with an amazing church service.

Youth Sunday

The Youth Group of Mt. Tabor will be having Youth Sunday on March 22nd at 10:00 am.

We are excited to share this event because our youth will be running the entire service.  We will have youth involved in all part of the service and the message titled “We are the Body” will be delivered by our Youth Pastor Kyle Stoker.  

All are welcomed so come join us!

Youth Spaghetti Dinner

The Mt. Tabor youth would like to invite everyone to join them for a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. All are welcomed to join us on Saturday January 10th with dinner times being at either 5 or 6pm. The cost of dinner will be $ 7.00 and it will include everything you would need to enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner.

We will also be showing the movie Heaven is For Real later in the evening. You can however just join us for dinner if you would like please note the movie is optional.

The proceeds from this event will go to help the youth finish off there new meeting and class room areas. This event will be fun for the entire family. Please contact the church or anyone from our youth for tickets.

Current Sermon Series

 This series is built around tying biblical principles to scenes   from the movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and started on  Sunday December 7th and will continue through Christmas Eve.

Come join us during this holiday season as we learn how to take the Grinch out of Christmas.

 

Christmas Cantata

Mt. Tabor is pleased to announce that we will have  special Christmas service on Sunday December 21st.  In this service we will enjoy the beautiful sounds of our Christmas Cantata.  The service starts at 10am and is open to the public.  Please join us.

 

C.A.L.L. Collection for January

We support the local C.A.L.L. Food Pantry and this month they are looking for Canned Fruit and Paper Towels.  We can receive items from 9am  – 1pm Mon –  Thurs, Wed. evenings or Sunday mornings. If you would like to donate to this wonderful cause please place items on the tables located at both entrances of the church.

Wednesday Night Meal ~ Please Join Us!

We currently do not offer a Wednesday night meal. However we do have Wednesday night activities September -April. Discipleship starts at 6:30pm. We offer programs for all ages.  We have Nursery, classes for children through the 6th grade, Youth Group for grades 7-12th, and Bible Studies for all adults.

All are welcome to join us!!.

Open Gym Basketball

 We are hosting  Open Gym Men’s Basketball on Monday  evenings at 7 p.m.  This pick up game is open to the public and will be hosted every Monday night. The season is currently over, but should pick back up early to mid fall. Please check back for details.

The MTWOG (Mt. Tabor Women of God) are selling a variety of shirt styles with the new Mt Tabor  logo.   Order forms and samples are in the foyer and please note that the proceeds from this fundraiser will support missionaries.
