Hoe Down Sunday
Current Series – Our Father in Heaven
This 4-week series breaks down the Lord’s Prayer, providing a blueprint for how we can model Jesus’ words in our own prayer life. Each week the Scripture reading will include the whole “Lord’s Prayer.” (Matthew 6:5-15)
In this first week Pastor Tim will be focusing on:
- The importance of prayer…
- The names of God… (Father and other’s)
- He might look at Isaiah’s vision of God on the throne…
- Holiness of God… (Hallowed)
Our services are at 8:00AM and 10:15AM. All are welcomed.
Charity Dinner & Auction
Mt. Tabor would like to announce our Annual Charity Dinner & Auction. This event will be held on Saturday, February 27th starting with dinner at 4:30pm. Dinner will consist of sloppy joes, variety of soups, drinks and lots of desserts.
The auction will start at 6:00pm. We will have cakes, pies, cookies, theme baskets, winter apparel and lots of cool stuff you can buy & bid on. The proceeds for this evening will go to help pay down debt for the church.
This event is open to the public and all are welcomed. We challenge you to join us for great food & lots of fun. Please contact the church if you have any questions.
Weather Update
Due to the cold temperatures, snow and conditions of roads all activities for Wednesday evening, January 13th have be cancelled. Please be safe when traveling tonight and we will see you next week.
Z-Praise
Women of all ages are welcomed to join us starting January 2nd on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 6:15 p.m. This 45 minute Zumba inspired class is an amazing workout to upbeat Christian music. It is not only a fun way to burn calories, but you will meet new people and have a great time too!
This class is held in our gym located at the far entrance of the building and a $2.00 donation is collected for each class, and we will be donating to C.A.L.L. Food Pantry. Optional items to bring include 1-5 pound hand weights for extra toning and a water bottle.

Game Night
We are excited to announce a family fun game night at Mt. Tabor. We will have a spaghetti dinner ready to serve. We ask all families that are attending bring a dessert to share with others. Please bring your favorite board game and join us on Friday, February 5th from 6 – 9pm. When you arrive the lower entrance will be open.
All are welcomed and we look for to seeing you there.
Christmas Eve Service
The community is invited to a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
December 24, 2017 at 7:00pm.
The service will contain special music, a short message, family communion (which is optional) and popular Christmas carols sung by candlelight. This service is approximately 1 hour in length.
Please come join us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
Wednesday Night Study
Lifetree Café is a time an place where people gather to hear inspiring stories and engage in conversation on a different topic every week.

At Lifetree Café you’re encouraged to share your own stories and listen to others. But if you don’t feel like talking that’s okay, too. You’re welcome just as you are. So join us Wednesday nights from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.

Packing Party
We are going to be packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child on Wednesday, November 11th at 7:00pm.
Every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship – transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ!
All who join us will be filling the boxes with basic need items like toothpaste, washcloth, soap, toothbrush, socks as well as books, toys, crayons, etc. Their will be supplies on site to place in the boxes, however we are also accepting donations.
Remember the evening starts at 7:00pm and we would love to see you there.
